Behind the gear shifts and subtle machintions of Auralism, you'll find longtime producer and DJ Jason Short. He commandeered his first turntables and sampler in 1999, diving headfirst into Florida's progressive and tech-house scene. Now based in San Francisco, Short pokes his fingers all over the musical map, promoting new talent as Auralism's label manager, spinning notoriously wicked after-hours sets all over the Bay Area, and launching his own time-stretching minimal-techno excursions as both a solo artist and as one-half of production duo Coalition of the Killing.
